Alain was born in Havana, Cuba and moved to Miami, FL at the age of ten. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the United States Army. During that time, he began his university studies at University of Louisiana, Lafayette. In 1997 he graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. That same year, he returned to Miami where he began working for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, dedicating more than eight years of service to children with speech-language disorders, including children with autism. In 2001, he received his degree of Master's of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University, Davie, FL. Alain, also, provided his services to the veterans at Miami VA Healthcare System. He also formed part of the professional staff at Speech Pathology and Educational Center, Inc., a private practice in Miami, FL. In 2003, Alain founded Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Center, Inc., with the goal of responding to the Hispanic community's increasing demand for specialized services in treating communicative disorders.

Kathy graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence and the Award for Continuing Education from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Kathy also has the Florida Department of Professional Regulation License for Speech Pathology and a State of Florida Department of Education Teaching Certificate for Speech Impaired. Kathy was a Speech Pathologist in the public schools of Illinois for 7 years and came to Florida public schools in 1986. She has been a speech pathologist with Lee County Schools for 21 years and a Program Specialist for speech and language for the last 13 years. Kathy has served on a state task force to develop a manual and training on inclusive speech-language services in the schools. She is a trainer for Lee County Language Curriculum, and she works with speech pathologist, and teachers, on integration of language and academics to increase student achievement in school.

Jesus received his licensure in education specializing in speech-language pathology from the Instituto Superior Pedagógico 'Enrique José Varona', La Habana, Cuba in July 1991. After graduation, he worked at several elementary schools including centers for children with special needs such as cognitive delays, behavioral problems, and psychological disorders. Jesus also worked at the Centro Diagnóstico y Orientación in La Habana, a diagnostic and resource center. Always treating each therapy session as an opportunity to eradicate, improve or compensate the errors and difficulties of speech and language in children, as well as, overall development to allow these children to actively incorporate in society.

Gelsy was born in Camagüey, Cuba. In 1986, she began her university studies at El Instituto Superior Pedagógico Enrique José Varona. In 1990, she received her licensure in education specializing in speech-language pathology. She began working as a speech-language pathologist at Horacio Cobiella Dominguez, a school for special education, treating a variety of speech-language disorders. In 1995, Gelsy began working at El Hogar de Impedidos Físicos y Mentales La Edad de Oro and the Policlínico Héroes del Moncada del Municipio Cerro en la Habana. She also worked as a consultant for the Hospital Hermanos Ameijeiras. Gelsy, later worked at the Policlínico Vedado and the Centro Internacional de Salud La Pradera until 2005. She treated children and adults with speech-language pathologies, as well as, children with cochlear implants.
